Marvin Kiefer

Marvin D. Kiefer, passed into the arms of our Lord on June 3, 2009. Born in Clinton, MO on May 7, 1937 to Harry O. and Lois G. (Murphy) Kiefer.
Marvin and Dorothy were married June 16, 1974 and resided for 25 years in Harrisonville, MO. In 1999, they moved to Sun City, AZ. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Sun City and attended Antioch Southern Baptist Church while living in Harrisonville. Marvin loved watching Open Wheeler Sprint Cars and traveling.
Marvin is survived by his brother, Ron Kiefer and his wife Sue, Urich, MO; two nieces, Michelle Welsh and husband Todd, Freeman, MO, Tammy Wuerfele and husband Cory, Amity, MO; three great-nephews, Zeb, Jasper and Jacob; a great-niece, Sydney; three step-children; seven step- grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, and three step-great-great grandchildren. He will be missed much by family and friends. Funeral services were held Monday, June 8, 2009 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Urich Cemetery, Urich, Missouri.
