Marvin William Bauerle, of Cleveland, Missouri, was born May 2, 1930 in Corder, Missouri the son of Anton and Hedwig Clara (Stolper) Bauerle. He departed this life on Monday, May 28, 2012 at his home near Cleveland at the age of 82 years and 26 days.
On July 1, 1955, Marvin was united in marriage to Doris Marie Hutson in Warrensburg, Missouri.
Marvin was employed as a machinist for the Boilermakers Union #83, Kansas City, Missouri until his retirement in 1992. Later he enjoyed farming where he raised cattle and grew crops. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the VFW Post #7348, Louisburg, Kansas. Marvin was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #6550 and the 4th Degree Assembly #3080 and the Civil War Roundtable all of Harrisonville, Missouri. He was an avid coin collector and was a history buff. Marvin had lived in Dover, Missouri and Warrensburg, Missouri from 1956-1964, then to the farm near Cleveland, then to Drexel, Missouri for 30 years and then back to the farm in 1994.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Doris Bauerle of the home; a son, Mark W. Bauerle and wife Donna, Cleveland, Missouri; two daughters, Diann Mazurek and husband John, Pittsburg, Kansas, Debbie Lynch, Kansas City, Missouri; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda Kyser, Cleveland, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Mass was held Friday, June 1, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Harrisonville, MO with graveside service at 2:30 pm, Friday, June 1, 2012 at the St. John’s Baptist Cemetery, Dover, MO.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus, Harrisonville.
