Mary Lee Anderson passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at Kingswood Health Center, Kansas City, Missouri. She was born May 18, 1925 in Garden City, Missouri the daughter of Dewey and Blanche Anderson who have preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Bernice Humphrey of Lubbock, Texas; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; 5 great-nieces and 5 great-nephews.
Mary Lee graduated from Creighton, Missouri High School and attended Southwest Missouri College in Springfield, Missouri. Later she became a CPA and worked many years for Author Young and Company in Kansas City and retired from Ernst Young and Company.
Mary Lee was an active member of the Ventura Club and a member of the Soroptimist Club since 1960, serving as president in 1967.
Mary Lee enjoyed her extended family and friends. She loved the outdoors and had many trips in her RV with friends.
Memorial services were held at Kingswood Chapel Sunday September 5, 2010 and a graveside service at the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
