Mary Lou Chambers

Mary Lou (Gregg) Chambers, 67, passed away on May 10, 2016 after a valiant battle with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Mary Lou was born on August 27, 1948, to Donald Gene and Peggy (Goodson) Gregg. She was an only child. She was raised in Creighton and moved to Raytown, MO in high school. She graduated from Raytown South High School in 1966 and went to beauty college after graduation. On May 29, 1967 she married her high school sweetheart, Ralph Chambers. They had two children, Donnie (Michelle) Chambers and Lisa (Ken) Sevy.
As a family, they enjoyed vacations on motorcycles and they attended the motorcycle rally at Sturgis for over 30 years and visited almost all of the 50 states.
Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents, Donald Gene and Peggy, and her husband of 45 years, Ralph.
She is survived by her son, Donnie (Michelle) Chambers and their daughters, Lindsey and Jessica, and her daughter Lisa (Ken) Sevy, and their daughters, Bethany and Isabella, and their son, Trajun, all of Creighton, MO. She is also survived by her uncle H.C. (Linda) Goodson, of Edwards, MO and aunt Connie Moyer, of Franklin, TN, and sisters-in-law Rita DeShazo, Independence, MO and Gloria Chambers, Lewisville, IL.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service was held Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggests contributions may be made to Twin Lakes Hospice or Parker Cemetery Association, Creighton, Missouri.
