Mary M. Reynolds

Mary Margaret ?Penny? Reynolds of Peculiar, Missouri was born August 29, 1942 in Gunn City, Missouri the daughter of Harold H. and Doris (McClear) Hyatt. She departed this life on Friday, May 28, 2010 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 19 days.
Penny was employed as an assembler for General Motors Leeds Plant, Kansas City, Missouri until her retirement. After her retirement, she became a homemaker. She grew up in the Gunn City Community and had lived in Harrisonville before moving to Peculiar. Penny was attending the Harrisonville Mennonite Church. She will be remembered for her love of God, family and her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Pat, Phil, Bruce and John Thomas Hyatt; her sister, Delores Pasada.
She is survived by two sons, Austin L. Kresse Jr. and wife, Lori, Gunn City, Missouri, Jason Reynolds, Archie, Missouri; two daughters, Lisa Rahnell Henderson and husband, Scot, Grandview, Missouri; Kelly Reynolds, Harrisonville, Missouri; four grandchildren, Sawyer, Mason, Bradie and Hannah; three brothers, Robert Hyatt and Mike Hyatt both of Gunn City, Missouri, Steve Hyatt, Garden City, Missouri; six sisters, Jane Hutchings, Holden, Missouri, Barbara Younger and Montie Geier both of Grain Valley, Missouri, Judy Laffoon, Peculiar, Missouri, Joyce Foote, Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Linda Lynch, Kansas City, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration Of Life Service was held Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the Harrisonville Mennonite Church, Harrisonville, Missouri with inurnment at the Gunn City Cemetery, Gunn City, Missouri.
Family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
