Max Parsons

Max Parsons of West Line, Missouri was born June 5, 1927 in Quinton, Oklahoma the son of Frank and Faye Marie (Sullivan) Parsons. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at his home in West Line at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 17 days.
On August 25, 1951, Max was united in marriage to Mildred Mae (Russell) Hinchcliffe in Lamar, Missouri.
Max was employed as a welder since 1988 for Corbin Industries in Belton, Missouri until his retirement. He was a member of West Line Christian Church and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He served 10 years as a volunteer fire fighter for the West Dolan Fire Department. Max enjoyed doing for others, and lived to share stories of his life with a lot of laughter from his family and friends.
Besides his parents, Max was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred; a son, Mike Hinchcliffe; a daughter, Linda Molina; three sisters and four brothers.
Max is survived by three daughters, Georgia Richardson and Ellen Heimann both of Pleasanton, California, Barbara Gann and husband, Herb, Belton, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Sheila Hinchcliffe, Freeman, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 25, 2011 at the West Line Christian Church, West Line, Missouri with burial in the Glenwild Cemetery near Cleveland, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Glenwild Cemetery or to the West Line Christian Church Memorial Fund.
