Michael 'Nemo' D. Nimmo

Michael “Nemo” Duane Nimmo, of Creighton, Missouri, was born February 18, 1957 the son of Standlee Fern and Ora Faye (Sturdvant) Nimmo. He departed this life on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, Missouri at the age of 59 years, 3 months and 18 days.
Mike was employed as a machine operator for Sioux Chief in Peculiar, Missouri for 18 years. He was a simple man and loved life to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mike is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary Nimmo of the home; a son, Michael Nimmo and wife Tracy and their daughter, Cassandra, Independence, Missouri; a daughter, Christi Stephenson and her daughters, Paige and Kyle, Olathe, Kansas; a brother, Glenn Nimmo, State of Pennsylvania; other relatives and friends.
Cremation. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
