Mike Smith

Noel Michael ""Mike"" Smith of Harrisonville, Missouri was born August 26, 1944 the son of Noel (Dick) and Stella (Warren) Smith in Salem, Arkansas. He departed this life Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 63 years, 1 month and 29 days. In the early 1950's the family moved to Kansas City, Missouri. Mike attended Westport High School and later joined the military where he served as a Green Beret in Vietnam.
On September 26, 1998, Mike was united in marriage to Jacqueline Dee Pulliam in Harrisonville, Missouri. Mike retired from both Armco Steel and General Motors. He enjoyed fast cars, motorcycles, and team roping. He was a member of the Everett Community Church near Archie, Missouri.
Mike will be missed by his wife, Jacqueline (Dee) Smith; daughter's family, Michele, Jay and Emma Sparks of Springfield, MO; son's family, Mark, Becky, Lynda and husband, Jeremy, Christopher and Nicholas Smith of Lee's Summit, MO; two step-daughters, Cathy Ellis of Houston, TX and Ashley Ellis and grandson, Brandon, of Raytown, MO; step-son, Charles Bolinger, of Warrensburg, MO; his mother, Stella Smith, of Raytown, MO; his brother, Lyndal Smith, of Kansas City, MO; his sister's family, Carol, Bob, Sara, Trent and Jordan Spinski, of Kansas City, MO; his brother, Rodney's family, Patricia, Rodney Jr., Cathy, and Darrel; other relatives and many friends.
Mike joined his father, Noel A. Smith, and brother, Rodney Smith, in Heaven.
