Mildred Maxine Leimkuehler

Mildred Maxine (Corlee) Beaver Leimkuehler, of Garden City, Missouri was born November 7, 1920 near Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of Wouter Van Twiller and Francis (Bingham) Corlee. She departed this life on August 11, 2013 at her home at the age of 92 years, 9 months and 4 days.
On February 17, 1945, Maxine was united in marriage to Frank Beaver and later was united in marriage to Irvin Leimkuehler on July 14, 1979 in Kansas City, Kansas.
Maxine was employed with AT&T where she worked for 30 years until her retirement in 1983. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, in Harrisonville, MO, and the Telephone Pioneer with AT&T. Maxine enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She had moved from Kansas City, MO to Harrisonville in January 1990 and then lived in the Benchmark Apartments from November 2009 – 2012. In 2012, she moved to the home of Trevor and Danna Leimkuehler.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Frank Beaver in 1970 and her second husband, Irvin Leimkuehler on November 7, 2012; daughter Donna; five sisters Thora, Thelma, Ernestine, Lucille, Arlene, and one brother Wayne.
She is survived by her son, Darrell Beaver and wife Justine, Walker, IA; grandchildren Brett Beaver of Cedar Falls, IA and Carrie Jaeger and husband John, Ottumwa, IA; great grandchildren, Harper and Elise Jaeger; step sons, Paul Leimkuehler and wife Chris of Missouri and Ray Leimkuehler and wife Karen of Wisconsin; Step-grandchildren, Zachary and wife Meghan Leimkuehler; Michael Leimkuehler, Trevor Leimkuehler and wife Danna, Tracy Williams and husband Clyde, Jerimie Leimkuehler and wife Stephanie; step- great grandchildren, Ashley Keeney, Kaleb, Adison, Brooke, Dalton, Emma and Quinn Leimkuehler, LaTeshia Robles and Jaleel Williams; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Sunset Gardens Cemetery, Marshall, Missouri.
The family received friends Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
