Neva Smith

Mrs. Neva Lorine Smith, of Harrisonville, Missouri, was born August 20, 1919 in Wakenda, Missouri, the daughter of Edward Harrison and Sarah Elizabeth (Etter) Warren. She departed this life Sunday, September 4, 2005, at Camden Health Center, Harrisonville at the age of 86 years and 14 days.
On September 19, 1939, Neva was united in marriage to Merlin Lee Smith in Sedalia, Missouri.
Neva was a homemaker. She had attended Longview Baptist Church, Lee's Summit, Missouri. Neva enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She had lived in Butler, Missouri, Harrisonville and Lee's Summit before moving back to Harrisonville in August, 2003.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Gina; two brothers, Ivan and Billy; one sister, Kay.
She is survived by her husband, Merlin L. Smith of the home; one son, Larry L. Smith and wife, Wanda, Garden City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Tracy Smith, Cameron, Missouri, Trent Smith, Garden City, Missouri and Lori Naber, Clinton, Missouri; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held Thursday, September 8, 2005 at the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
