Norma King Cummins

Mrs. Norma K. Cummins of Grandview, Missouri was born December 14, 1922 in East Lynne, Missouri, the oldest of five children born to Clyde Everett and Laura (Dale) King. She departed this life on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 29 days.
On September 8, 1946, Norma was united in marriage to Melvin (Rocky) Cummins.
Norma was a homemaker. She was an active member of the Grandview United Methodist Church, Grandview, Missouri for the past 60 years. She had grown up on the family farm near East Lynne before moving to Grandview.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin on January 19, 1999; two brothers, Clyde and Robert King.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Sandy Arnall and husband, David, Peculiar, Missouri; two granddaughters, Shelly Arnall Van Trump and Kate Arnall; two great-grandsons; two brothers, Sam King and wife, Arlene, Garden City, Missouri, Richard King, East Lynne, Missouri; her sister-in-law, Virginia King, Harrisonville, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration Of Life Service was held Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Grandview United Methodist Church, 12613 Grandview Rd., Grandview, Missouri. Cremation.
Family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Grandview United Methodist Church.
