Ozro Sigler

Ozro Otis ""Bud"" Sigler of Harrisonville, Missouri was born November 9, 1916 near Adrian, Missouri the son of Otis Franklin and Emma Louella (Nelson) Sigler. He departed this life Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at his home in Harrisonville at the age of 89 years, 1 month and 5 days.
On June 1, 1950, Bud was united in marriage to Helen Marie Murphy and later married Mollie Louise (Walton) Eckart on November 20, 2001 in Garden City, Missouri..
Bud was employed as an inspector for Jack Cooper Transport Company, Kansas City, Missouri from 1947 until his retirement in 1981. He had earlier been a farmer and stockman. Bud was a member of the First Baptist Church, Harrisonville and the Teamsters Local #41, Kansas City, Missouri. He had lived in Kansas City, Independence and Lee's Summit, Missouri before moving to Harrisonville in 1976.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen on March 17, 2001; a brother, Cleo and two sisters, Jeraldine and Ethyle.
He is survived by his wife, Mollie Sigler of the home; a daughter, Donna Chase and husband, Frank, Wright City, Missouri; a step-son, Jim Eckart, St. Petersburg, Florida; two step-daughters, Shirley Burton and Dorothy Burton both of Garden City, Missouri; two grandchildren; sixteen step-grandchildren; three great-grandsons; thirty step-great grandchildren; four step great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Kieslick and Maxine Hoover both of Kansas City, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 17, 2005 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville with burial in the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
