Mrs. Pamela Kay Cumpton of Garden City, Missouri was born May 13, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Albert Gale and Bonnie Ray (Tiller) Davis. She departed this life Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Research Belton Hospital, Belton, Missouri at the age of 44 years, 7 months and 1 day.
On, January 6, 1979, Pamela was united in marriage to John Wayne Cumpton in Dayton, Missouri.
Pamela was a homemaker and was earlier employed at Country Creek Golf Course near Pleasant Hill, Missouri. She was a member of the Dayton Community Church near Garden City where she was a Sunday school teacher and worked with the youth. Pamela attended Sherwood High School near Creighton, Missouri and was a 1979 graduate of Archie High School, Archie, Missouri. She enjoyed her family, the outdoors, her flowers and garden and taking her grandson to check the cattle. Pamela was a lifelong area resident.
She is survived by her husband, John W. Cumpton of the home; two sons, Jason Cumpton and wife, Kristy and Joe Cumpton both of Garden City, Missouri; a grandson, Kody; her parents, Albert and Bonnie Davis, Garden City, Missouri; a brother, David Davis, Johnston City, Illinois; a sister, Patty Sweet, Harrisonville, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 17, 2005 at the Dayton Community Church near Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Dayton Cemetery.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Dayton Community Church Memorial Fund.
