Mrs. Patricia Elaine Young, of Harrisonville, Missouri, was born December 25, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Leland Curtis and Mary Lee (Hartzler) Roach. She departed this life Saturday, February 3, 2007, at Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville at the age of 62 years, 1 month and 8 days.
On July 27, 1963, Patricia was united in marriage to Ernest William Owen Young in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Patricia was a homemaker. She was also employed at the Cass County Recorder of Deeds office and the Allen Bank and Trust Company, Harrisonville. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, East Lynne, Missouri and the Red Hat Society. Patricia had attended Garden City High School, Garden City, Missouri and had lived in Garden City before moving to Harrisonville in 1965. She loved crocheting, spending time with her family and her grandchildren, baking and decorating cakes.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest W. Young of the home; two sons, Timothy L. Young, Harrisonville, Missouri, Daniel G. Young and wife Lisa, Lee's Summit, Missouri; a daughter, Cynthia S. Wagner and husband John E., Lone Jack, Missouri; four grandchildren, Nate, Natalie, Brittany and Whitney; a brother, Estle Roach, Ballard, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A memorial service was held Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Cass Medical Center Foundation.
