Paul Theren Brown of Harrisonville, Missouri was born May 25, 1928 in Lamar, Missouri the son of Arthur E. and Hattie (Runyan) Brown. He departed this life on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville at the age of 84 years, 3 months and 4 days.
On May 1, 1957 Paul was united in marriage to Helen Marie Skivers in Ogden, Utah.
Paul was employed as a electrician for General Services Administration at the Bannister Complex, Kansas City, Missouri until his retirement in 1986. He was an Army veteran. Paul enjoyed building guitars, playing and listening to bluegrass music, hunting and the outdoors. Paul had lived near Latour, Missouri before moving to Harrisonville in 1976.
Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a son, Charles E. Brown, a grandson, Benjamin Brown; seven brothers and three sisters.
Paul is survived by his wife, Helen M. Brown of the home; two sons, Paul T. Brown Jr., Gary A. Brown and wife, Dianna all of Harrisonville, Missouri; two daughters, Carol S. Vanbuskirk and husband, Michael of Ephrata, Washington, Genie M. Bylina and husband, Edward, Harrisonville, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life Service was held Friday, August 31, 2012 at at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Cremation.
