Phillip E. Cook, 70, Harrisonville, MO, passed away June 20, 2013 at KU Medical Center.
Phil was born in Turlock, California on January 12, 1943. His life centered around his family and many friends. He loved watching his grandchildren at sporting events. He enjoyed going to the lake, fishing, hunting and was a loyal KC Chiefs fan. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He was a great father, grandfather and friend.
Phil was proceeded in death by his parents Philander Cook and Morris and Millie Blansett, a sister Bernitta Oberman, and a brother Carl Cook.
He is survived by his wife Teresa, two sisters Marsha Miller and Marilyn (Roger) Horn, four sons Phillip Cook Jr., Allen (Cheryl) Cook , Kent Cook and Kevin (Kelly) Worthley, four daughters Lenora Crandell, Tammy (Tony) Spainhour, Tiffany (Steve) Goss and Cortney (Brent) Mayhew, grandchildren; Phillip III, Angela (Chris) Corson, William Cook, Chris Crandell, Tawny Cook, Autumn (Chae) Pak, Brandon (Tara) Barber, Amber Spainhour, Derek, Dilan, and Devyn Worthley, Kaitlin Crisler, Jacob, Lucas and Ryan Goss, Cooper and Ella Mayhew, great-grandchildren; Kayley, Kaeden, Kate and Kaylor Pak and Chance and Colby Corson and many nieces and nephews.
