Regina A. Wurdeman of Harrisonville, Missouri was born November 27, 1920 in St. Anthony, North Dakota the daughter of George A. and Frances (Leingang) Hoffman. She departed this life on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Golden Years Care Service, Harrisonville at the age of 94 years, 10 months and 7 days.
On September 21, 1944 Regina was united in marriage to Ivory Wurdeman in Mandan, North Dakota.
Regina was owner and operator of Tony's Cafe in Mandan, North Dakota. She was of the Catholic faith. Regina enjoyed sewing, embroidering, crocheting, gardening and the outdoors. She will be remembered as a mighty hard worker, stubborn and would do anything for her family. Regina had lived in Mandan, and Erie, Illinois before moving to Harrisonville in July of 2011.
Besides her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Ivory, 2 brothers, Jacob and Thomas; 5 sisters, Ann, Eva, Rose, Cecelia and Margaret.
Regina is survived by a son, Larry Wurdeman, Copperas Cove, Texas; a daughter, Linda Graham, Harrisonville, Missouri; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren with one on the way; 5 brothers, Tony Hoffman, Holiday, Florida, Leo Hoffman, Pocatello, Idaho, Andy Hoffman and Edward Hoffman both of Wellton, Arizona, Danny Hoffman, Quartzsite, Arizona; other relatives and a host of friends.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Crown Care and Blessed Trinity Hospice for the care they gave to, Regina.
Funeral services were held Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Building Fund.
