Reyna J. Oliver

March 12, 2002 — February 17, 2021

Reyna Jeanneth Oliver, 18, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born March 12, 2002, in Guatemala. She departed this life on February 17, 2021, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Reyna was in her senior year of high school and was working at the Pleasant Hill Creamery and as a childcare provider for Kidz, Inc., both in Pleasant Hill. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Lee’s Summit, where she enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School, was active in the youth group, and helped on mission trips. Reyna loved reading, working puzzles and the color hot pink. She enjoyed baseball, especially attending her brother Ty’s games and watching the Royals play. Reyna adored fishing with her grandpa at the family cabin and still holds the family record for the biggest crappie caught. Reyna also enjoyed playing board games and pool with her family.

Reyna is survived by her parents, William E. “Bill” and Kaila D. (Breon) Oliver; three brothers, Grady (and Anna) Oliver of Paola, Kansas, Jorden (and Cheyanne) Oliver of Harrisonville, and Ty Oliver of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Carsynne (and Brady) McGuire and Maizee Oliver, both of Pleasant Hill; her nephew Reed McGuire; paternal grandparents, William and Sandra Oliver of Lee’s Summit; maternal grandparents, Larry and Cheryl Breon of Lee’s Summit; and many other relatives and friends.
