Robert John Graham of Harrisonville, Missouri was born August 20, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan the son of William and Marcella (Miller) Graham. He departed this life on Monday, March 1, 2010 at Camden Health Care Center, Harrisonville at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 11 days. On September 27, 1967, Robert was united in marriage to Linda Ann Wurdeman in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Robert was an iron worker until his retirement. After retirement he became employed at Scavuzzo?s Super Market and later Ball?s Super Market, Harvey?s of Harrisonville and was an insurance salesman for the Knights of Columbus. He served in the Merchant Marines during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Harrisonville and had served as Past Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus. Robert was proud of his Native American heritage being a member of the Sadlt Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Robert will be remembered for his love of family and his ability to tease and talk to all children. He enjoyed putting together model airplanes and had moved to Harrisonville in 1975.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard and a sister, Billie.
Robert is survived by his wife, Linda Graham of the home; four sons, Michael Graham and wife, Stacey, Erie, Illinois, William Graham, Pueblo, Colorado, Paul Chris Graham and wife, Sheri, Tucson, Arizona, Stephen Graham and companion, Brittany, Harrisonville, Missouri; three daughters, Kimberly MacLeod and companion, J.C., Hallsville, Missouri; Tara Morrow and Brittany Graham and companion, Adrian all of Harrisonville, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Mass was held Friday, March 5, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Harrisonville with burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Building Fund.
