Robert Lee McGraw of Butler, Missouri was born February 20, 1931 in Garden City, Missouri the son of Harry Elvin and Alice Irene (Matter) McGraw. He departed this life Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Willow Lane Nursing Center, Butler at the age of 76 years and 17 days.
Robert was employed as migrant worker. He worked in the orchards in the summer and cut wood in the winter. Robert enjoyed traveling across the United States. At an early age, he had a love of trains. Robert had lived in Garden City and Austin, Missouri before moving to Butler.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a brother, Donald E. McGraw and a sister, Lois Jean Kothe both of Denver, Colorado; nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held Friday, March 9, 2007 at the Dayton Cemetery near Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice.
