Roger James Moore

June 26, 1953 — January 7, 2013

Roger James Moore of Pleasant Hill, Missouri was born June 20, 1953 the son of Susan Ann Moore and Homer Moore. He departed this world on Monday, January 7th at his home in Pleasant Hill.
Roger had a rough life. He tried his best to make it a better. He loved his close family, close friends and they family made around him. We all know he had a "small attitude" sometimes but it made him who he was. He loved the special time he got to spend with his grand children, fishing and teaching them mew things. He loved visits from all who came to see him. He loved his AA family so very much. He loved his chocolate shakes and coca-cola's, even though they didn't like him. He never let someone sit in jail if he could help it. He would help any hitchhiker on the side of the road on a hot day. He always saved his peppermints for the younger ones who came to visit. His heart could be as big as he was.

He lived his life the way he wanted to and now we will miss him.
He is survived by his three daughters Carrie Palmer, Dawn Cline, and Angelica Svendsen. He also is survived be his grandchildren Britney, Richard, Samantha, Tre , Blayde, Savanah, Buck, Abigail, and Sophia and his one great grandchild Chevelle.
Roger will live on in all of us in someway.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
