Ruby Dolores Chronister

Ruby Dolores Cartee/Chronister, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born December 1, 1937 in Clifton Hill, Missouri the daughter of Archie Leonard and Etta Bell (Decker) Perkins. She departed this life Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville at the age of 73 years and 16 days.
Ruby was a homemaker. Later she was employed as a Pre-school teacher in Nixa, Missouri for 17 years. Ruby loved spending time at the lake, enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren and growing flowers.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers.
Ruby is survived by Lester L. Cartee of the home; a son, Gary Cartee and wife Viola, Independence, Missouri; three daughters, Karen Graves and Kelly Wray and husband Bob all of Harrisonville, Missouri and Tammy Allred, Ottawa, Kansas; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister, Juanita Macumber, Harrisonville, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held, Tuesday, December 22, 2010 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Graveside service were held Wednesday, December 23, 2010 at the Miami Cemetery in Miami, Missouri.
