Sharon L. Sanders

Sharon Lee Sanders, age 77 of Peculiar, MO died on October 25, 2012 in her home surrounded by family. She was born on 10/7/35 to Mike and Maud Snow in Independence, MO.
Sharon attended Peculiar High School and graduated in 1953. On 6/19/54, she was united in marriage to Larry Jay Sanders. As a homemaker, Sharon was dedicated to her home and family. Thru the years, her home was open to all of her children’s friends. Her home was known for the swimming parties and chocolate chip cookies. Sharon and Larry had a winter home in Apache Junction, AZ that they enjoyed for many years.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Mike Snow and Maud Snow-Weeks. She is survived by her husband, Larry Sanders, four children, Larry, Shari, Rhonda & Tim and Mike & Joyce. Her 9 grandchildren, Celina, Renee, Sasha, Amanda, Justin, Jessica, Gage, Josie and Colten; and 8 great-grandchildren, Baileigh, Morgan, Chloe, Taryn, Felecia, Gavin, Abbi and Brody.
A Celebration of Life Visitation was held, Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Cornerstone Chapel, Peculiar, Missouri. Cremation with inurnment in West Union Cemetery, Cleveland, Missouri.
Family suggests contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
