Sondra Gail Hutchens

Sondra Hutchens of Pittsburg, Missouri was born April 18, 1942 in Peculiar, Missouri the daughter of Alfred Raymond and Leona Ellen (Quick) Bronson. She departed this life on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Missouri at the age of 67 years, 11 months and 16 days.
On January 2, 1961, Sondra was united in marriage to Harold Russell Hutchens in Peculiar, Missouri.
Sondra was a homemaker. She had attended all 12 years of schooling in Peculiar and was a 1958 graduate of Peculiar High School. She had lived in Peculiar and Piper, Kansas before moving to Pittsburg, Missouri.
Besides her parents, Sondra was preceded in death by her son, Eric Linn Hutchens on September 6, 1988.
Sondra is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Harold R. Hutchens of the home; a son, Kraig Lynn Hutchens and wife, Mindy, Peculiar, Missouri; a daughter, Harolene Baumgartner and husband, Brian, Basehor, Kansas; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Hutchens, Basehor, Kansas; seven grandchildren, Broke Ellen and Amber Gail Baumgartner of Basehor, Kansas, Gage Silas Hutchens and Emmie Elizabeth Louise Hutchens, Kristina Nicole Hutchens, Skiler Dawn King and Courtney Marie Pierce all of Basehor, Kansas; a brother, Gary Bronson and wife Norma, Peculiar, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Celebration of Life Service were held Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Cremation.
Family suggest memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
