Stanley Fisher Jeppesen, of Butler, Missouri was born September 30, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Stanley Stahl and Mary Gladys (Fisher) Jeppesen. He departed this life on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Bates County Memorial Hospital, Butler, Missouri at the age of 85 years and 7 months.

On December 2, 1950, Stanley was united in marriage to Bonnie Lawrence in Olathe, Kansas. On June 13, 2009, he was united in marriage to Vera Louise Hartman in Butler, Missouri.

Stanley was employed in the Collections and Bankruptcy Department for Commerce Bank in Downtown Kansas City and the later was Vice President at the Harrisonville Branch from 1975 until his retirement in 1995. He was baptized in 1957 at the Hickman Mills Community Christ Church and was a member of the First Christian Church, Harrisonville. Stanley was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He loved horses and riding the Bucking Broncs in the rodeo. Stanley enjoyed dancing, shooting and collecting guns, fishing, hunting, playing cards and games and spending time with his family. He admired classic cars and thought they were a work of art.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Jeppesen, October of 1999; a daughter, Julia Laura Gillaspie on March 12, 2006; a grandson, Matthew Aaron McKinney and a sister, Mary Lou Wilkins.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Louise Jeppesen of the home; a son, Floyd Jeppesen and wife Karen, St. Joseph, Missouri; two daughters, Sheryl McKinney-Collins and husband Lester, Raymore, Missouri, Kathy Seutter and husband John, Frankenmuth, Michigan; 4 step-children; 8 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Choy, Honolulu, Hawaii, Ila Sullivan, El Cajon, California; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, Missouri.
