Susie Todd

Susan “Susie” Todd, 67 of Pleasant Hill, was born, October 12, 1946, in Malden, Missouri, the daughter of John William “Bill” and Loretta Marie (Michael) Anderson. She departed this life at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2014, at her home surrounded with love and family. Susie was a 1964 Pleasant Hill High School Graduate.
On May 22, 1965 she was united in marriage to H.A. Todd in Pleasant Hill.
Susie was homemaker. She had also owned and operated the Olde Towne Video store in Pleasant Hill and worked as a hairdresser. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church where she had taught Sunday school and Bible School. She enjoyed arts and crafts; especially painting.
Susie was the most wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
Susie was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Loretta Anderson and one infant sister Barbara Lou Anderson.
She is survived by her husband H.A. of the Home; two children, Barbara Davis and her husband Robert and Hal Todd and his wife Betsy all of Pleasant Hill; one sister Brenda Willis of Pleasant Hill; Eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and a host of many friends.
Cremation has been accorded.
A memorial services was held Thursday, July 17, 2014, at the Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Reverend D. Kent Deubner will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
