Theresa Pauline Wheeldon, of Garden City, Missouri, was born December 31, 1967 in Harrisonville, Missouri, the daughter of Nina Pauline Wheeldon. She departed this life Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Saint Joseph Health Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 39 years, 5 months and 29 days.
Theresa was employed as a paraprofessional for three years in the Harrisonville Elementary School for the Harrisonville School District, Harrisonville, Missouri. Previously she had been employed as a nanny for seven years. Theresa was a 1986 graduate of Sherwood High School, Creighton, Missouri and was a member of the New Covenant Fellowship, Garden City. Theresa at the age of 9 was raised by her maternal grandparents after the death of her mother. She loved her family and being with children and was a lifelong area resident.
She was preceded in death by her mother on March 14, 1977 and her maternal grandparents, Riley and Juanita Wheeldon.
She is survived by many aunts and uncles; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 4, 2007 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Dayton Cemetery near Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the David Wheeldon Memorial Fund.
