Tiila M. Stark

We celebrate the life of Tiila Marie Stark, beloved daughter, sister, and friend. Tiila passed away on June 3, 2009. Born on December 30, 1991, Tiila entered the world small but fierce. She continued to prove her strength and courage as she developed into a beautiful young woman. As a child, Tiila was both kind and outgoing. Her smile and generous spirit were infectious and drew many to her, including the menagerie of cats and dogs that found their way to her. Tiila loved school. She always did. In her early years, many of us were privileged to sit in her at home classroom. Her love of school grew with her. She was an honor student with bright ambitions regarding her future.
Tiila will be remembered by many. Her memory will be etched into our hearts in the form of remembered smiles and kindnesses she offered to all who crossed her path. It is in these memories that we will carry Tiila with us. May her family and friends find some comfort in the words of poet ee Cummings:

Cremation. A memorial service was held Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Archie High School National Honor Society.
