Weymeth L. (Stair) Knibb

Weymeth Lee Knibb, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born March 20, 1933 in Harrisonville the daughter of William Leslie and Martha Opal (Nowlin) Stair. She departed this life on Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 27 days.
On January 1, 1960, Weymeth was united in marriage to John Wayne Knibb in Harrisonville.
Weymeth was a 1951 graduate of the Harrisonville High School, went to Warrensburg for college and taught rural school until her marriage to John. Weymeth was active in church teaching Sunday School, WMU, Vacation Bible School and Sunday School Records. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Archie, Missouri. Weymeth was a homemaker and loved her family and farm.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Knibb on July 3, 1986.
Weymeth is survived by two sons, Roger Knibb and wife Gwen, Roy Knibb and wife Sherry all of Harrisonville, Missouri; 3 grandchildren, Faith, Cosmo and Larry; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Harrisonville.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Archie, Missouri Fellowship Hall Sound System.
