William Ellsworth ?Bill? Steiner of Harrisonville, Missouri was born June 5, 1914 in Germantown, Maryland the son of Anton and Elmer (Williams) Steiner. He departed this life on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at Golden Years Care Services, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 95 years, 5 months and 21 days.
On June 3, 1939, Bill was united in marriage to Louise Kelly and later married Bonnie Ford on March 5, 2004 in Seminole, Florida.
Bill owned and operated Manasota Appliances in Bradenton, Florida until his retirement in 1984. He was a Mason and Shriner and enjoyed playing the saxophone with his local band in Bradenton. Bill had lived in Largo, Florida before moving to Harrisonville in September of 2006.
Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise; a step-granddaughter, Jennifer Dyke and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Ford Steiner of the home; five step-sons, Rev. Mark Ford, Barberton, Ohio, James Ford, Hilliard, Ohio, Rev. Doug Ford, Marion, Ohio, Ronnie Ford, Lenexa, Kansas, Stephen Ford, Linn Creek, Missouri; four step-daughters, Marcia Ribordy, Seminole, Florida, Marty Wood, Higginsville, Missouri, Marquita Grant, Overland Park, Kansas, Bonnie Hyatt, Garden City, Missouri; 23 step-grandchildren; 28 step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Catherine Leatch, Annapolis, Maryland; other relatives and many friends. A Graveside Memorial was held Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the Manasota Memorial Park, Bradenton, Florida.
