Wilma Williamson

Wilma Fay (Tabor) Williamson, of Garden City, Missouri, was born March 26, 1941 in Cass County, Missouri, the daughter of Joseph Franklin and Fannie Mae (Williams) Tabor. She departed this life Monday, December 3, 2007, Saint Joseph Health Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 8 days.
Wilma was employed as a cook for several restaurants in the local area including the Half Way Restaurant and the Dinner Bell both of Harrisonville, Missouri as well as the Old Cedar Inn in Garden City . She was also employed at Unique Optical in Rich Hill, Missouri and the sewing factories in Garden City and Holden, Missouri. Wilma attended Sweet Water Tabernacle Church in Rich Hill. She was a very patient person and loved to help people whenever they were in need. Wilma enjoyed play games, cards and doing puzzle books.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Marvin Tabor.
She is survived by two sons, Ron Tabor and wife Tina, Rich Hill, Missouri, Dale Williamson and wife Kelly, Harrisonville, Missouri; a daughter, Bridgett Williamson, Belton, Missouri; six grandchildren, Brandon, Samantha, Jenna, Madison, Kennedy and Lee Ann; a sister, Thelma Arnold, El Dorado Springs, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Sweet Water Tabernacle Church in Rich Hill, Missouri. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
