Mrs. Agnes Martha Ryberg, of Garden City, Missouri, was born August 19, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Theodore Fiocati and Margaret Agnes (Weixeldorfer) Fiocati Kluck. She departed this life Thursday, October 6, 2005, at her home at the age of 79 years, 1 month and 17 days.
On December 4, 1945 Agnes was united in marriage to George T. Ryberg in Olathe, Kansas.
Agnes was a homemaker. Earlier, she had worked in a local defense plant during World War II and also at Montgomery Ward in Kansas City, Missouri. She helped operate A & M Quarries and Ryberg Landfill, Creighton, Missouri with her husband, George. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Creighton. She was active in Little League, Cub Scouts and the American Legion Auxiliary and many community projects. Agnes and George lived in Creighton for 28 years until they moved to Garden City in 1980.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George on January 7, 1983; one brother, Jack Fiocati; one sister, Jeanie Fiocati.
She is survived by one son, George Michael Ryberg and wife Cheyenne, and one daughter, Janet Schnorf and husband Larry, all of Creighton, Missouri; and a loving grandmother of six grandchildren, Janelle, Matthew, Michelle, Larra, George and Crystal; seven great-grandchildren, Zachary, Von, Joshua, Blaine, Chelbi, Kelsi and Amber; two brothers, Theodore Fiocati, Hermitage, Missouri and Gary Kluck, Shawnee, Kansas; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Mondyay, October 10, 2005 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Dayton Cemetery near Garden City, Missouri. Family suggests memorial contributions may be made Breast Cancer Foundation and may be left at the funeral home.
