Allegra Woodman

Mrs. Allegra Katherine Woodman of Harrisonville, Missouri formerly of 3129 61st. Street, Des Moines, Iowa was born February 26, 1908 in Des Moines the daughter of Ambrose and Lottie (Wonderland) Stein. She departed this life Sunday, May 14, 2006 at Crown Care Center, Harrisonville at the age of 98 years, 2 months and 18 days.
Allegra was united in marriage to James S. Woodman.
Allegra was employed as a portrait finisher for the Des Moines Studio and later was employed as a shipping clerk for the Lindfelt and Champion Glove Company all in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Urbandale, Iowa and had moved to Harrisonville in 1996.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James, a sister, Doris C. Stein and two brothers, Earl and Russell Stein.
She is survived by her son, Fred Woodman and wife, Cynthia, Harrisonville, Missouri; two grandchildren, Chip Woodman and Sara Mannino; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, Iowa.
