Allien Frances Hunt

Allien Frances Hunt of Garden City, Missouri was born December 5, 1925 near Garden City, Missouri the daughter of Robert Lee and Maude Ellen (Ritter) Hunt. She departed this life on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 9 days.
Allien was never married and being the only daughter, she took care of her parents and her 5 brothers, Robert, Walt, Elmer, Charlie and Harold. She was a lifelong area resident of Garden City and was of the Baptist faith. Allien was a quiet person and enjoyed reading, visiting on the phone, doing crossword puzzles and driving around enjoying the country.
Besides her parents, Allien was preceded in death by her five brothers.
Allien is survived by her nieces and nephews, cousins; other relatives and a host of friends at Garden City Senior Citizens Housing.
Graveside services were held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
The family received friends Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
