Alta "Midge" L. Kagarice

Alta “Midge” Kagarice, age 85, passed away at Lee’s Summit Medical Center, on Sunday, June 12, 2022.
She was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Stuard William and Myrtle Alta (Price) Northup.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers Jimmie, Dale and Clyde Northup, sister Elnora “Nory” Cox, and son William “Bill” Johnson.
She is survived by son, Greg and wife Doreen Johnson of Blue Springs, grandsons Jerry Johnson of Erie, PA, SSG Kory Johnson of Camp Lejeune, NC and Cody Johnson of Lee's Summit, granddaughter Amy Johnson and great-grandson Zayne Porter of Grandview, nephew Curt Northup of Lenexa KS, and niece Rebecca Northup Raytown, MO.
Midge retired from AT&T in 1996, after 30+ years. She loved flowers and planted many colorful pots every summer. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Chiefs and Royals and college basketball. Midge also loved the holidays and always decorated her house and yard.
She will be missed by all, including her furry “kids” Skipper and Sasha.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the funeral home.
