Annetta Sheppard

Annetta C. Sheppard, of Clinton, Missouri was born July 22, 1937 in Cloud Chief, Oklahoma the daughter of Jim and Bernice (Wilkerson) Hill. She departed this life on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton at the age of 76 years, 8 months and 28 days.
On August 14, 1954, Annetta was united in marriage to Jim Earl Sheppard in Springfield, Missouri.

Annetta was a homemaker. She was a member of the Latour Presbyterian Church, Order of the Eastern Star Bayard Chapter #179, the VFW Auxiliary both of Harrisonville and the Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem #26, Garden City, Missouri. Annetta enjoyed bowling and playing around on the computer. She had lived in Latour, Missouri before moving to Clinton.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Sheppard on September 9, 2005; a granddaughter, Lindy Michelle Sheppard; a grandson, Jeremy Sheppard and a brother, Tony Hill.
Annetta is survived by two sons, Mike Sheppard and wife Robby, Amsterdam, Missouri, Rick Sheppard, Garden City, Missouri; 2 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Hill, Buffalo, Missouri, Jerry Hill, Willard, Missouri; two sisters, Emma Meyers, Willard, Missouri, Andrea Beneke, Columbia, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery near Latour, Missouri.

Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
