Barb Patrick

Barbara Loueda Patrick (née Hamner), age 78, passed away on April 18, 2025, in Harrisonville, Missouri. Born on September 16, 1946, in Keokuk, Iowa, Barb’s life was a quiet testament to resilience, care, and enduring love.

She was the daughter of Ralph and Rovene Hamner and carried with her the values instilled in childhood—values that shaped her journey as a wife, mother, grandmother, and hardworking professional. Barb was preceded in death by her beloved husband Waldo Patrick; her parents; and her cherished grandson Cody.

Barb dedicated herself to meaningful work throughout her life. In Carthage, Illinois, she worked at Good Apple with diligence and compassion. After moving to Urich, Missouri, she continued her career at Mod & Fab, bringing the same integrity and steadfast spirit that defined all she did.

She is lovingly remembered by her brother Vernon; her children Brenda, Bill, Lorri, and Brad; and her grandchildren Angie, Samantha, Seth, Kayton, Dylan, Skylurr, Nicholas, and Jonathon. Her legacy extends through great-grandchildren Landyn, Jerzee, Zayden, Zander, Stormie, Kyndle, Kyndra, Hadleigh, Harleigh, and Hayzleigh—as well as numerous nieces and nephews who carry pieces of her warmth forward.

Barb found beauty in life’s simple rhythms—losing herself in a good book or singing along to country music with heartfelt joy. She painted with quiet passion and took pride in nurturing a vibrant yard. But most of all, she treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren—moments stitched together with laughter and deep affection.

Her presence was both grounding and uplifting—a strong yet gentle soul whose devotion bound generations together. May Barb’s memory brings peace to those who knew her and remain a light within their hearts always.
