Benjamin "Benny" Ray (Strawmier) Robinson age 70 of Osceola, MO. Formerly of Colorado, departed this life Thursday, February 5, 2026 at The Village At Mission in Prairie Village, KS.
Son of Richard Strawmier and Alice (Essman) Robinson and adopted father, Richard E. Robinson. Ben was born in Denver, Colorado. He lived his childhood in Northglenn, then later years in Aurora, and Colorado Springs. After his mother passed away in 2018, he moved to Osceola, MO to live with his lifelong friend, David Lackey.
Ben served in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1974 to 1976. He received the Rifle Expert Badge, Pistol Expert Badge and a Letter of Commendation. He was a Tank Crewman.
He loved camping, boating, and riding his motorcycle. He loved the Denver Broncos. He loved watching John Wayne movies, Gunsmoke and Fox News. He was a BIG fan of President Trump.
He drove a concrete mixer truck for many years and assisted in pouring the runways at the Denver International Airport.
Benny is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Terry Robinson and Mickey Robinson. His wife, Jan and his dogs, Memphis and Jazzy. Lifelong friend David Lackey.
Benny is survived by his son Jeremy (Robinson) Kimmel; a brother, Randy (Kim) Robinson, and a sister, Lori (Bill) MacKirdy. Lifelong friends, Kathy Ruliffson Campe and Cheri Macoubrie Wilson. Many nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation with no service scheduled.
