Bobby Green

Bobby Carson Green of Kansas City, Missouri was born August 11, 1938 at Braggs, Oklahoma the son of Edgar L. and Bertha Mae (Isbell) Green. He departed this life Thursday, January 19, 2006 surrounded by his family at his home in Kansas City at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 8 days.
On, August 23, 1958 Bobby was united in marriage to Carlene V. Cantrell in Miami, Oklahoma.
Bobby was employed for 35 years as a saw operator in concrete road construction for W.A. Ellis Construction Co. and earlier for J.P. Reiter Construction Co. until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of Heavy Construction Laborers Union #663, Kansas City, Missouri. He enjoyed his grandchildren and the outdoors hunting and fishing. Bobby had lived in Archie, Missouri before moving to Kansas City in June of 2004.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tony Green on December 5, 2004; a brother, Danny Green and a sister, Joyce Richmond.
He is survived by his wife, Carlene V. Green of the home; a son, Ricky Green, Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters, Mitzi Morgan and husband Jay P., Garden City, Missouri, Bobbi Lorenz and husband, Steven, Butler, Missouri; three grandchildren; Preston, Christian and Amy; a great-granddaughter, Payden; two brothers, John Green, Dallas, Texas, Robert Green, Tulsa, Oklahoma; five sisters, Etha Lee Porter, Odessa, Missouri, Ann Green, Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Peggy Gary, Harrisonville, Missouri, Linda Havens, Butler, Missouri, Brenda Lieneke, Wellington, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 23, 2006 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Austin Cemetery near Archie, Missouri.
