Brady Edward Hagerman

Brady Edward ?Ed? Hagerman, of Creighton, Missouri, was born May 26, 1945 in Gashland, Missouri the son of Alvin Edward and Minnie Pearl (Harris) Hagerman. He departed this life Monday, October 4, 2010 at the Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 8 days.
On August 6, 1980, Ed was united in marriage to Karen Renee (Agans) Cumpton in Garden City, Missouri.
Ed was employed as a painter and dry wall finisher for the Local Union #1594, Kansas City, Missouri until his retirement in 2000. He loved to fish and was a member of the North American Hunting and Fishing Club. Ed was an avid reader of National Geographic and was a 2 term Mayor for the City of Creighton.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Tony Cumpton.
He is survived by his wife Karen R. Hagerman of the home; two sons, Brian Hagerman, Oceanside, California, Brent Hagerman, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, five step-sons, Clay Cumpton, Urich, Missouri, Cole Cumpton, Calhoun, Missouri, Curtis Cumpton and Clint Cumpton both of Urich, Missouri, Cliff Cumpton, Creighton, Missouri; three daughters, Kim Loring, State of New Jersey, Angie Taylor, Mission, Kansas, Amy Hagerman, Conway, Arkansas; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers; three sisters; other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life service was held Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri. Cremation.
