Carlene Green

Carlene Verna Green of Archie, Missouri was born June 26, 1943 in Archie the daughter of Raymond L. and Hazel (Bell) Cantrell. She departed this life on Friday, March 28, 2014 at her home surrounded by love and family at the age of 70 years, 7 months and 2 days.
On August 23, 1958 Carlene was united in marriage to Bobby Carson Green in Miami, Oklahoma.
Carlene was a waitress at Di-Li-My Restaurant in Archie and later at Harvest House Restaurant in Harrisonville, Missouri until her retirement in 2006. She will be cherished by her family and grandchildren. Carlene will be remembered by her family for her shopping trips to Kohls, going to the Casinos and taking long road trips with her daughter, Mitzi. Carlene was a member of the United Methodist Church in Archie and was a lifelong area resident.

Besides her father, Carlene was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby on January 19, 2006; a son, Tony Green and two brothers, Rick and Terry Cantrell.
Carlene is survived by a son, Rick Green, Archie, Missouri; two daughters, Mitzi Morgan and husband, Jay P., Garden City, Missouri, Bobbi Lorenz, Grandview, Missouri; three grandchildren, Preston Morgan, Harrisonville, Missouri, Amy Harper and Christian Lorenz both of Garden City, Missouri; five great-grandchildren; Rosalee, Penelope, James, Payden and Laythan; her mother, Hazel Eckert, Harrisonville, Missouri; two sisters, Nancy Cummings, Harrisonville, Missouri and Sandy Briggs, Adrian, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral service were held Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with interment in Austin Cemetery near Archie, Missouri.

Family suggests contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
