Charles 'Chuck' F. Shirkey

Charles Francis Shirkey of Harrisonville, Missouri was born June 16, 1928 in Broken Bow, Nebraska the son of R.C. and Leota (Ahl) Shirkey. He departed this life on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at his home in Harrisonville surrounded by love and family at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 22 days.
Charles was owner and operator of Design Window, Inc. in Denver, Colorado until his retirement. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. Charles enjoyed his family, camping and traveling. He had lived in Littleton, Colorado before moving to Harrisonville to be near his family.
Besides his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma and his second wife, Imogene; his daughter, Debbie Daniels.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Diane Brinkley, Spokane, Washington; two step-daughters, Jackie Winker, Fletcher, North Carolina, Jill Pinnt, Englewood, Colorado; six grandchildren, Lindsay, Brandon, Ashleigh, Alex, Michelle and Brittnay; other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside services were held Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.
