Craig Steven Hayden

Craig Steven Hayden, age 64, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Crown Care Rehab & Healthcare Center in Harrisonville.

Craig was born to Juanita M. Hayden (Sanders) and William Andrew Hayden. He graduated from Raymore–Peculiar High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

A natural builder and problem-solver, Craig was an entrepreneur throughout his life. He spent many years working with the local union plumbers, where he was admired for his dedication, steady work ethic, and exceptional skill. His creativity had no limits—his greatest joy was building anything his mind could imagine.

After many years of physical challenges, Craig is now finally at peace.

Craig is survived by his children: Travis Steven Hayden (44), Kristal Lyn Shaddox (44), Kayla Marie Merriman (40), Denver Elaine Bowersox (24), Garrett Andrew Bowersox (22), and Ember Skye Bowersox (21).

He is also survived by his grandchildren: William Hayden (21), Allie Hayden (18), Klaira Merriman (8), Koralynn Merriman (6), Ashland Lee, and E'liaakyn Hayden (1).

Craig will be remembered for his strength, his creativity, and the love he carried for his family. As well as his ambiguous storytelling. May he rest peacefully, finally free and whole once again.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday December 16, 2025 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m with Military Honors at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.

Cremation at a later date.
