Curtis L. Reed

Curtis (Curt) Lee Reed, 24, left this world on September 23, 2026. Curt was born November 8, 2001 to Michelle Curtis and Markus Reed, in Jackson county Missouri.

Curt loved the outdoors and loved being active. He graduated from Harrisonville High School in 2020. He participated in Track and also loved swimming and gave himself the name “White Torpedo”. He loved Skiing, Fishing, and playing on the Trampoline. Boating with his family was one of his favorite pastimes.

Curt was a devoted father to his son Jackson. Every outing was an adventure; Curtis made sure of it!

Though his life was short; he lived it to the fullest. His smile and laughter were infectious. Though he had a serious side, one of his best traits was the ability to make others laugh, whether through stories or silly antics.

He leaves behind a two-year-old son, Jackson Reed, his father Markus Reed, Step-Mother Stacy Reed, Paternal Grandmother Linda Reed, a sister Katelyn Wright, a brother Kahylor Reed, a half-brother Kyle Brown, and two step-brothers Chase Elersic and Dominic Elersic.
