Darlene Capps

Ann Darlene Capps, age 72, passed away on January 2, 2026, at Meadowview Rehabilitation Facility.

She was born August 30, 1953, to Norman Dewayne Williams and Rose Louise Williams.

Darlene completed school through the 8th grade. She then took on the task of helping her mother with her brothers and sisters. She was a very caring sister and protected her siblings as best she could. She also had a humorous side and loved helping others anytime she could. She loved the outdoors and getting a really good suntan. Later in life, her hobby was spending time with her cat.

She was an amazing mother who always spoiled her daughters and made sure they had what they needed or wanted as best she could.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, David Williams and Richard Williams; and one grandson, Dylan Alan Querry.

Survivors include two brothers, Elmer Williams and James Williams; three sisters, Carol Sprinkles, Pat Blackketter, and Sheryl Crabtree; two daughters, Rosie Louise Querry and Sheryl Ann Booth; four grandchildren, Destinie Querry, Trista Pickett, Emerald Amy, and Michael Dunham; and eleven great-grandchildren: Somer Spurgeon, Michael Levier, Breklyn Smith, Greyson Pickett, Wiley Pickett, Zeke Querry, Zyrek Querry, Riot Querry, Scarlet Dunham, Stella Dunham, and Achilles Kissinger.

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who knew her as Aunt Dar Dar.

Cremation with a Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with Inurnment at Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri at a later date.

Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
