David E. Boyle

David Eldon Boyle of Pleasant Hill, Missouri was born August 12, 1980 in Osceola, Missouri the son of Verna and Roger Burkhart and Kenny Wilkerson. He departed this life and joined the Lord in Paradise on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at his home surrounded by love of friends and family at the age of 42 years old.

David was rowdy! He loved things that were loud or shiny. He enjoyed guns, fireworks, or anything that exploded. He wanted to go fast and drove just a little crazy, because he liked it that way. He took great pleasure in video games, fishing, and working with his hands. He was a collector of baseball cards, coins, weapons, and firearms. He shared these hobbies with those around him. David loved and protected his mother and sisters fiercely. He poured into the young lives of his nieces and nephews, often buying them expensive, loud, and shiny gifts.

David intermittently struggled with pain throughout childhood. He was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis after struggling with pain daily as a young adult. He fought a long hard battle with his body most days of his life. Even on his hard days, he always wanted to make sure everyone else was taken care of. Through suffering, Christ softened the heart of David and called him to Himself. On October 3rd, 2021, David was baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in his home, surrounded by many who loved him. His mother had the honor and privilege of serving him daily as his body began to deteriorate.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Eldon and Barbara Boyle.

David is survived by his loving mother, Verna Burkhart, his younger sisters, Christa Tuttle and her husband Justin, Holly Burkhart and her boyfriend Johnathan Noble, his nieces and nephews he spoiled daily, Gracie Champion, Kyrie Tuttle, Mya Hall, Justus Tuttle, Phineas Tuttle, Jack Tuttle, Johnathan Noble Jr., Edward Tuttle, Jubilee Tuttle, and Glory Hallelujah Tuttle, his step father, Roger Burkhart, his cousin Brian Burkhart, his father Kenny Wilkerson, his sisters Kendra Dorr, Renita Wilkerson, and Emily Anderson, and many other relatives and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 22nd, 2023 at 27305 East State Route P, Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Both friends and family are encouraged to attend.
