David Lawrence Long

David started working for a company painting construction areas and married Paula Cousin in 1983. David had two sons and Paula had three girls. He started his long-term career as a self-employed painter. David and Paula lived in Arizona and California where they then moved to Missouri in 1996 and enjoyed many hobbies together.

David and Paula spent most of their adult life together in California and Missouri where they enjoyed being parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. David had many hobbies – he loved to draw, paint, fish and play pool. Most of all, David loved to help in any way he could.  

Besides his parents, he was proceeded in death by spouse Paula Long.

David is survived by his 5 children, David Long and Jaye Lene Cornell, Micheal Long, Karrie Barreras, Cindy Copeland, and Tracy Cousin; grandchildren Donna, Nichol, Alaina, Amber, Tiffany, Ashley, Kimberly, Ariel and Prudence; with 14 great grandchildren.

Cremation with no services, Celebration of life will be posted once that information becomes available.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Croix Hospice.
