David W. Shearer
David Wayne Shearer, of Kansas City, Missouri, was born September 13, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Theodore "Hap" Paul Shearer Sr. and Mary (Wilden) Shearer. He departed this life on Tuesday, May 2,2023 at North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 62 years,4 months 1 week and 4 days.
After David graduated from Van Horn High School in Kansas City Missouri, he started working odd and ends jobs until he finally started working doing what he loved to do; a diesel mechanic, he spent 30 plus year doing what he loved.
In, 1983, he met the love of his life Mary Virgina Giannico Giannico. David and Mary didn't have any children of their own but David took in Mary's four boys; Kevin Garwood, Thomas Emberton, William Garwood, and David Giannico as his own.
David loved spending working, riding his Harley, collecting his favorite guns and being the commissioner on the board of Inner City Fire Station.
Besides parents, David was preceded in death by life long love Mary V. Giannico brothers, Theodore "Sunny" Paul Shearer Jr, Lawrence "Larry" W. Shearer and sons Thomas Lee Emberton and Kevin Wayne Garwood.
David is survived by two sons William Garwood ND wife Katrina, Rich Hill, Missouri and David Giannico Kansas City, Missouri. 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandkids; sister Linda Suzanne Clemons, Climax Springs, Missouri, brother James "Jim" Dean Shearer, Stover, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation with Inurnment at Parker Cemetery, Creighton, Missouri at a later date.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date
