Dawn Rose Beasley, of Creighton, Missouri was born August 15, 1940 in Clinton, Missouri the daughter of John and Thelma (Pinkston) Hamilton. She departed this life on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Crown Care Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 81 years and 27 days.
On August 18, 1958, Dawn was united in marriage to Carl Eugene Beasley in Urich, Missouri.
Dawn owned and operated the Sherwood Free Press for many years. She was a member of the Creighton United Methodist Church and a former Cub Scout leader. Dawn enjoyed butterflies, collecting dolls, taking pictures, drawing and painting and writing poetry.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Pinaire; a brother, John Hamilton; two sisters, Lucinda Rogers and Mary Robbins.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Carl Beasley of the home; three sons, Carl Beasley Jr. and wife Susan, Creighton, Missouri, Dennis Beasley and wife Stacy, Garden City, Missouri, David Beasley and wife Mechelle, Creighton, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Cremation. A private family inurnment will be at the Pitts Chapel Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
