Delores Schnorf-Mackedanz

Delores Sue Mackedanz of Harrisonville, Missouri was born June 21, 1943 in Harrisonville, Missouri the daughter of Leon Bell and Mary Alice (Blaine) Schnorf. She departed this life on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Golden Years Care Services, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 8 days.
Delores was united in marriage to Frank Mackedanz on June 13, 1963 at the home of her parents near Creighton, Missouri.
Delores was a homemaker and earlier was employed for AT&T, Kansas City, Missouri. She was a member of the Creighton Christian Church, Creighton, Missouri and a 1961 graduate of Creighton High School. She enjoyed being around children, music, painting, singing and being with her family. Delores had lived in Creighton, Peculiar and Kansas City before moving to Harrisonville in 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank.
Delores is survived by two sons, Daniel L. Mackedanz and David A. Mackedanz both of Richland, Missouri; a granddaughter, Jaimy; a great grandson, KJ; two brothers, Jerry L. Schnorf and wife, Brenda, Kansas City, Missouri, Larry B. Schnorf and wife, Janet, Creighton, Missouri; nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life Service was held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Cremation with inurnment in Grant Cemetery near Creighton, Missouri at a later date.
The family received friends Saturday at the chapel. Final arrangements entrusted to Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
